Terms of service.

These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Guardino Technologies LLC ("Guardino", "we", "us"), a Wyoming-registered company (file no. 2026-001882554).

By creating an account or using the Service, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you are authorised to bind it.

Guardino provides DNS-level filtering: your device sends DNS queries to our servers, we apply your blocklists and rules, and return resolved or blocked answers.

We do not guarantee absolute filtering accuracy: malicious domains appear faster than any blocklist can update, and false positives can occur.

We may modify, suspend or discontinue features at any time. We will give 30 days' notice before removing a feature you actively use.

Please read this section before you need it. Because your device sends every DNS query to us, an interruption on our side does not look like one feature failing: names stop resolving and the internet appears to be down on that device. That also means you may not be able to reach this page, our dashboard or your email while it is happening.

You can always restore your connection yourself, from the device, without us and without a working internet connection. On iOS or macOS, open Settings, go to General, then VPN & Device Management, and remove the Guardino profile. On Android, open Settings, go to Network & internet, then Private DNS, and set it to Off or Automatic. On a router, restore the DNS servers your provider assigned or use a public resolver. Your device resolves normally again within seconds, unfiltered. Re-applying the profile later restores your filtering exactly as it was.

We suggest saving those steps somewhere reachable offline, such as a screenshot or a note on the device. They are also shown in your dashboard under Setup.

We run more than one resolver node and check their health continuously. When a node stops answering, or when we take one out of rotation on purpose because a provider is degrading it or for maintenance, we update DNS automatically so your queries reach a node that is answering. That is failover, not instant redundancy: a short interruption is possible while it takes effect, and there are periods when we deliberately serve from a single node. We do not promise uninterrupted service and we do not offer uptime-based service credits. If Guardino is not available enough for you, you may cancel at any time from your billing settings and, within the first 14 days, request a refund under our refund policy.

We notify account holders by email about incidents that last long enough to matter and about planned maintenance. Please keep a working address on your account, and note that if your own connection depends on Guardino you may need a second device or network to read it. You must be 18 or older, or have permission from a guardian, to create an account.

You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe. Notify us at support@guardino.ai immediately if you suspect compromise.

One person, one account. Sharing credentials across organisations is not permitted unless you are on a Family or Team plan that explicitly supports it.

Do not use Guardino to attack, scan or relay traffic for systems you do not own or have permission to test.

Do not deliberately exceed the query volume of your plan. Sustained heavy abuse will result in throttling or suspension.

Do not attempt to bypass the auth system, scrape protected pages or reverse-engineer paid features.

Do not use the Service for anything illegal in your jurisdiction or in the United States. Full rules are in our Acceptable Use Policy.

Free plan: limited query volume and a single profile. No card required.

Paid plans: billed through Stripe in USD, monthly or annually depending on the term you choose at checkout. You can cancel any time and your access continues until the end of the current billing period.

Free trial: a paid plan starts with a 14-day trial. We collect your card when you subscribe and, unless you cancel before the trial ends, the first payment is taken automatically on that date. We email you before it happens.

Refunds: full refund within 14 days of first payment, no questions. After that we issue refunds at our discretion for genuine service failures.

We may change pricing with 30 days' email notice. The new price applies at your next renewal, never retroactively. Billing questions: support@guardino.ai.

How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy at /legal/privacy.

We do not sell DNS data. We do not share it with advertisers. Period.

Guardino owns the Service, brand, dashboard and code.

You own everything you upload (custom rules, device labels, profile names).

You grant us a non-exclusive licence to process your content solely to operate the Service for you.

"Guardino", the Guardino logo and related marks are trademarks of Guardino Technologies LLC. You may not use them without our prior written consent, except to refer fairly and accurately to our products and services.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Danger Zone. Your data is permanently erased after 30 days.

We may terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice when reasonable.

Sections 7 (Privacy), 8 (IP), 11 (Liability) and 12 (Disputes) survive termination.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Guardino's total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including loss of data, lost profits or business interruption.

DNS filtering is a defence layer, not a guarantee. You remain responsible for your own security posture.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

Disputes are resolved by binding arbitration seated in Wyoming, USA, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court for IP infringement. Where mandatory consumer-protection law grants you the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence, that right is preserved.

Guardino is a US entity. You may not access or use the Service in violation of US export-control or economic-sanctions laws, including regulations administered by OFAC. You represent that you are not located in, and not a national of, a comprehensively embargoed jurisdiction, and that you are not on any restricted-party list.

If you are located in Türkiye, KVKK (Law No. 6698) governs the processing of your personal data. See our Privacy Policy for the full KVKK section, including your Article 11 rights and the cross-border transfer disclosure.

Consumer rights under Turkish Law No. 6502 apply to consumers ordering Guardino subscriptions from Türkiye, in addition to the rights set out in these Terms.

We may update these Terms. Material changes are emailed to all active accounts at least 14 days in advance, with a new "Effective" date.

Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
