How fast is setup?

About two minutes. You scan a QR code on Android or install a .mobileconfig on iOS: one profile per device, protected over encrypted DNS. You can also point your home router at Guardino to cover everything on your Wi-Fi at once.

Do you log my browsing?

Accepted Answer

We see domain names, never the full URL, the page, or what you type. By default we keep no query history at all. If you turn on insights for your own account, we then keep minimal metadata (domain, allowed/blocked, time) for the retention window of your plan so you can review activity; you can turn it off or request deletion any time, and we never sell or share it. Your dashboard is scoped to your account.

What happens at the end of the free tier quota?

Nothing, because we do not meter your queries. The published allowance is a fair-use figure, not a switch: we never stop resolving and we never leave you unfiltered to push an upgrade. What Free actually limits is scope, one profile and three devices. Paid plans add profiles, scheduling and history.

Can I cancel any time?

Yes. Cancel from Settings → Billing whenever you like. No support tickets, no retention scripts.

Is this an antivirus or scam blocker?

No, and we say so on purpose. Guardino is a DNS-layer shield specifically for the architecture of attention (dopamine loops, dark patterns, infinite scroll) plus traditional ad/tracker blocking. For malware scanning, pair us with your OS's built-in defender.

Do I still need Apple Screen Time or Google Digital Wellbeing?

Keep them; Guardino works alongside them. Apple Screen Time and Google Digital Wellbeing manage time and app limits on a single device. Guardino adds the network layer underneath: it filters distracting and harmful domains for every device on your profile, including the ones those tools can't reach. They work best together.
